Alicia Keys performed a storming 8-song set in Bangor on Saturday for Radio 1′s Big Weekend!
Included were the heavy hitters: You Don’t Know My Name, Fallin’, Superwoman, Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, Empire State of Mind, No One, and Doesn’t Mean Anything!

Just a reminder that Alica’s long-awaited tour supporting new album The Element of Freedom hits the UK tomorrow, and judging from the responses to the show stateside, we’re in for a treat!
Our girl plays Birmingham’s NIA tomorrow (Weds 19/5), with further shows at The 02 Dublin, SECC Glasgow, MEN Manchester, and The O2 London.
And if you want a taster of what to expect… or need an Alicia fix because you missed out on tickets, Miss Keys will playing live on BBC2′s Later Live at 10pm tonight! (With the full show Later with Jools Holland following this Friday night at 11.30pm).

January 25, 2010The Hope for Haiti telethon which ran this weekend has shattered previous records for such events. The international broadcast, which featured performances by Alicia Keys, Rhianna, Wyclef Jean, Madonna, Shakira, Justin Timberlake, Bono, and Beyonce has already raised more than £35m for Oxfam, Unicef, Partners in Health and other earthquake relief groups.

The first is tonight’s interview and performance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross BBC1 10.35pm.
The second is a further interview with Trevor Nelson and highlights from an exclusive session at the world famous BBC Maida Vale studios recorded earlier this week.
