A Funky Mission from SOUL UNSIGNED!

November 16, 2010

UK indie Soul Unsigned have come up trumps this year with their debut slew of releases …. and they’re not stopping yet!

Their final release of  2010 sees Israeli-based funk band Funk’N’Stein deliver an awesome 10-tracker, Funky Mission, that evokes memories of the great jazzy-funk albums of the mid-late 1970s: live instrumentation, a full horn section, and even some live strings too!

This is the kind of organic funk/soul music that Soul Unsigned  first championed on the early ‘unsigned’ albums.

In a modern world of cold and clinically-perfect production albums, it’s refreshing to hear jazz/funk/soul music in its purest and original form!
