Winston Warrior Releases “Bad 4 U” Official Remix in the UK

April 23, 2012

(Atlanta, GA – April 2012) Winston Warrior is proud to release the first official remix for “Bad 4 U” produced by renowned soulful dance, British deejay, Dave Doyle. Released in the United Kingdom on March 30, house-heads worldwide will be able to secure “Bad 4 U Dave Doyle Remix” on April 23. “Bad 4 U Dave Doyle Remix” will be available through Winston’s label, Vintage R&B as well as through Dave Doyle’s imprint, Dragonfruit.

Bad 4 U,” which is on steady radio rotation across the United States and the Caribbean, continues to gain popularity around the world, specifically in the United Kingdom and Europe. In an effort to maximize exposure and increase awareness of Winston’s Phoenix Movement along with his debut album Lifeology 101 to a broader international audience, Winston’s UK team approached Dave Doyle about collaborating. The “Bad 4 U Dave Doyle Remix” naturally ensued as both parties recognize the potential in Winston Warrior’s Vintage R&B sound to meld with Dave Doyle’s urban house style. As dance/house music’s growth explodes, “Bad 4 U” as interpreted with Dave Doyle’s soulful eclecticism exemplifies the genre with its synth backgrounds and slow techno build.

As Mike Fossati of Spirit Of House says, “There ain’t no stopping Dave Doyle…“Bad 4 U” by Winston Warrior [is a] wonderful song taken to the next level as he reworks [it] into [a] fierce yet soulful four-to-the-floor anthem, using spell binding funk drenched rhythms as playground for classic strings, grand keys and the unmistakable vocals. Jam packed floors guaranteed.”

Listen to “Bad 4 U Dave Doyle Remix” below and as it traverses the globe, expect to hear more from Winston Warrior and Dave Doyle in the future.
